This was a run and gun around the old neighborhood. No preplanning, shot all within a few hours on location. Very very fun shoot, and there was a companion video to follow but sadly, it’s lost ;( All of the lighting was natural, with editing done by yours truly. My favorite sequence here is 0:34 - 0:36 because to me it perfectly captures the idea of man in pain that you can only see by looking closely into his eyes. Amazing lyricism by DEi and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to try and match his words with my camera.
